A poem I wrote a few years ago, inspired by my many years of long distance running…<\/i><\/p>\n
O’ IT Band, O’ IT Band,
\nRight now life just ain’t that grand.
\nYou’re too tight, you’re too sore,
\nMakes it hard to run out the door.<\/p>\n
Run real fast, up a hill,
\nBack down again, what a thrill!
\nBut then my hips throb and ache,
\nKnee stiffens up, it’s hard to take.<\/p>\n
Stretching, resting, hit the foam roller,
\nPain so bad it makes me smolder.
\nHow this helps, I don’t know,
\nGuess my PT will make more dough.<\/p>\n
What’s next for me I cannot tell,
