My blogging career started on Livejournal, oh so many moons ago. I no longer use Livejournal, but I have archived all of my entries and occasionally check them out. This post was from a few years ago.<\/i><\/p>\n

I was at my German speaking group and I was talking to a vegan about Sarah Kramer<\/a>, a vegan chef, blogger, and cookbook author whom I really like. I brought up one of her books on my Android tablet and was showing it to him.<\/p>\n

Me: “Her cookbooks are really good.”
\nVegan guy: “Do you own any of her books?”
\nMe: “Yes. There’s a lot of pictures of herself in these books. She’s pretty and she knows it.”
\nVegan guy: “She’s not pretty.”
\nMe: “What do you mean she’s not pretty??”
\nVegan guy: “She has all of those tattoos. Therefore she’s not pretty.”
\nMe: “…”
\nMe: “…”
\nMe: “…”<\/p>\n

Yeah, as an old punk and crazy clubber, myself and this guy are on completely different wavelengths. Except on the not eating meat thing.<\/p>\n
