His knowledge of intersecting histories is so engaging and comprehensive you might start to wonder what this guy doesn’t know!

paharikawa is a historian from Australia whose TikTok features perspectives on Middle Eastern and Asian history, the complexities of the many varied ethnicities of the region, (Because ethnicity is a far more complex subject than most people realize or are willing to admit,) and gives us new insights into the rich and varied cultures of the people of Asia and the Middle East while schooling us on history with his demure trademark “He he he!” Interesting, fascinating, and highly informative.
