“What manner of sorcery is this???”
“I would’ve gotten away with it, if it weren’t for those meddling kids!”
“Only pop music can save us now!”
“You have learned much young one, but only your hatred can destroy me. Now, release your anger!”
I really think we should be using more dramatic phrases in everyday life, though most don’t agree. I experimented with new types of greetings, something besides the usual “Howya’ doin'” that me and my friends usually use.
We could be like Klingons: When you meet a friend or a new acquaintance you could look at them regally and say “Glory to you, and your house!” (Your house being your clan, your posse, your circle of friends and such.)
Not too many people were into that idea. I also tried out a line from X Men II on a couple of friends, using a line from a scene where Magneto tells a young mutant “You are a God among insects. Never let anyone tell you different!”
All I got were confused looks. I mean, really, it’s a compliment!
