\n      \u201cJust that usual bottom static on a couple of channels. That’s about it.\u201d
\n      \u201cStatic butts?\u201d asked Chip.
\n      \u201cThe bottom of the screen you perv.\u201d
\n      \u201cHey, I’m a professional perv. I get a pass!\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cWell, you don’t even look thirty,\u201d said Sixer with a smile.
\n      \u201cOh hell yeah she does,\u201d spoke up Harp, \u201cShe looks like she’s thirty five!\u201d
\n      \u201cStop that!\u201d said Colleen as she playfully punched Harp in the arm. \u201cThat’s mean!\u201d
\n      \u201cHey Skye,\u201d said Harp, \u201cyou can start looking for those young guys who want a MILF!\u201d
\n      \u201cCan I be a MILF if I don’t have any kids?\u201d asked Skye. <\/p>\n

     \u201cYou guys aren’t gonna start singing Waiting Room, are you?\u201d
\n      Skye shook her head. \u201cNo, no. Not gonna sing it.\u201d
\n      \u201cWe won’t sing it if you give us five dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cSomeone lost a buncha vibrators.\u201d
\n     \u201cThose don’t work anymore,\u201d shouted Chip from the back.
\n      \u201cDamn. What kinda shoots are ya doin’ if you keep breaking this many vibrators?\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cDamn Skye. You fucked her up.\u201d
\n      \u201cWhat was I supposed to do? She was getting out of hand.\u201d
\n      \u201cSure, but did you have to rearrange her face?\u201d
\n     Skye put down her beer and turned towards Cringer. \u201cHey, if someone hits you, you either run or you fight. You just don’t stand there with a dumb look on your face holding your finger up in the air.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cIn high school. I owned my own car. Most of my friends back then had licenses to drive, but they had to beg their parents to borrow a car, which they almost never got. I had a big ass fucked up Lincoln Continental that my grandparents gave me so I never had to ask. My nickname back then was ‘Can I have a ride?’\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cHe has a nipple thing,\u201d said Skye as she got down on the floor to look under the bed.
\n      \u201cNipple thing?\u201d
\n      \u201cYeah. You can’t mess with his nipples unless you grab them or bite them kinda hard. He doesn’t like it if you just gently brush them.\u201d
\n      \u201cWhat?\u201d
\n      \u201cHe gets really upset if you don’t touch his nipples correctly.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cShouldn’t you guys be at the club by now?\u201d asked Betts.
\n      \u201cHell naw,\u201d said Cringer. \u201cThose punks always show up late anyways. We just need to be there right before we go on.\u201d
\n      \u201cJason’s a singer anyways,\u201d said Teresa. \u201cThose fuckers never haul equipment,\u201d she added with a grin.
\n      \u201cHey, I do so help!\u201d protested Jason.
\n      \u201cWith those guns you better,\u201d said Skye as she playfully punched Jason in the arm.
\n      \u201cQuit punching me,\u201d said Jason.<\/p>\n

     \u201cThat’s the worst part, when you can’t remember their name. It’s not the part about you got stinkin’ drunk and went home with someone you barely know, or whatever deviant sex acts you did the night before, or that you have no idea which city you’re in, much less whose house you’re waking up in, it’s the not remembering their name. That somehow always ends up being the worst part.\u201d
\n      \u201cToo true. It’s so embarrassing. It’s like, ‘Yeah I had my face crammed up against your genitals for half an hour last night but I don’t remember your name.’\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cWhen I was their age I was snorting speed off of my partner’s genitals. What are these fuck ups doing?\u201d<\/p>\n

     Gil put his arm around Skye. \u201cYou are a good friend, lovely lady.\u201d
\n      \u201cDid you just call me a lady?\u201d
\n      \u201cWatch it Gil,\u201d said Jake-o. \u201cShe gonna punch you.\u201d
\n     Gil took back his arm. \u201cIs that a threat or a promise?\u201d
\n     \u201cYes!\u201d said Skye. \u201cNow I’m buyin’ Bonn’s pint. Who’s drinkin’ it?\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cI got other problems than lesbians with crappy pickup lines. I really do.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cHoly shit though, that was a trip,\u201d said Skye as she walked up to Rails.
\n      \u201cWhat?\u201d
\n     \u201cGabriella. The last time I saw her she was an obnoxious little six year old.\u201d
\n     Rails looked over at Gabriella and her crew. \u201cIt is a trip. I still want to see the six year old, but now…\u201d
\n     \u201cThat shit makes me feel old.\u201d
\n      \u201cWait ’til she has kids of her own. Then you’ll feel like someone’s grandma.\u201d
\n      \u201cFuck.\u201d Skye looked over at Gabriella. \u201cI am literally old enough to be her mother.\u201d
\n      \u201cIf you got knocked up at fourteen, yeah. Which has happened around here a few times.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cHere you go sweet thing,\u201d said the man as he gave Colleen a Snickers bar.
\n     \u201cSweet thing?\u201d said Colleen. \u201cI don’t know whether to slap you or kiss you!\u201d
\n     \u201cOr both,\u201d said Skye.
\n     \u201cBoth both!\u201d said the man as he jumped quickly up and down.<\/p>\n

     \u201cYeah, I had way too much beer and whiskey and some coke. I barely even remember what happened.\u201d
\n     \u201cFuck Skye, you oughta know better than that. You do too much coke and whiskey and you could end up fucking a horse.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cWho’s Bonn?\u201d asked one of the metal women.
\n     \u201cOur friend Bonn who passed on last week. This was his favorite bar and that was his favorite song.\u201d
\n     \u201cYou mean to tell me this guy’s dead and buried,\u201d said Skye, \u201cand he’s still causing a ruckus at the pub?\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cI dunno. I can ask around, but I ain’t droppin’ everything and looking for some sketched out tweaker who may or may not be in trouble, even if she used to be my best friend. I practically killed myself looking for that asshole Alex when she disappeared, and I drove all over creation on the off chance I might find my ex in one big city after another. Those kinda searches never go nowhere. I’m done chasin’ after fuck ups who don’t care enough to at least text or call somebody to let us know they aren’t dying in a ditch somewheres.\u201d<\/p>\n

     \u201cThe only reason all men haven’t been wiped out in a total gender race war is because our culture has somehow convinced women that they aren’t capable of the same kind of rage and violence as men. They are. Maybe even more so because they have a lot more to be pissed off about.\u201d<\/p>\n

     Skye leaned closer to Shane. \u201cSo if he was such a monumental fuck up that drove everyone up the wall, why you writin’ to him?\u201d
\n      Shane held up his block and looked at it. \u201c’Cause I know no one else is writin’ to him, and he did all those messed up things because he got fucked over by just about everyone he knew. His family, his schoolmates, all of his evil exes, and alla that shit when he was young. That’s what fucked him up. That’s why he was such a wild asshole.\u201d Shane turned to Skye. \u201cIf he hadn’t a’ checked out they would have eventually kicked him out of the gang. They wouldn’t have had a choice. Even so, I just thought someone should let him know that someone’s thinking about him. Sometimes you gotta give some cred to people who weren’t necessarily your favorites, or who weren’t your closest buds. You know.\u201d<\/p>\n
