Okay, I’ve seen these ten bands, followed by ten things about the bands I saw. First one to match the correct bands with the correct situations gets a giant sundae at Fenton’s, on me! (And maybe a few drinks later on at the bar down the street…)

a – Took a woman to this show on a first date!

b – An absolutely massive disappointment. On my list of worst shows ever

c – Saw them with a small crowd which would have been large, but two other huge acts in the same genre were playing on the same night

d – Saw them by accident without knowing who they were or anything at all about them beforehand

e – Saw them when they were relatively still unknown, before they became a big deal

f – Ran into Joe Strummer at this show in a crowded room – I was the only person who recognized him

g – Saw them only because a friend of mine had an extra ticket and wanted a wingman for the show, even though I wasn’t that familiar with them.

h – Never got to see them the last time they were supposed to come through because tour was cancelled due to singer’s health problems. (Had seen them play before though…)

i – Scammed my way backstage and got to hang out with the band because a friend of mine really wanted to meet the singer

j – Attacked a man who was assaulting a woman who was half his size in the crowd when I saw this band. He ended up with a bloody nose
